Yonkers finest, DMX was owner of one of the most unique voices in hip hop. From the first word of any track he graced you knew exactly who it was and you knew exactly what he was going to bring to that track. Dark Man X left an indelible mark on the game.
His performance at Woodstock in ’99 looked like he played to the whole world sporting red dungarees and his trade mark Timberlands, he brought an energy to his stage performances that needed no gimmicks, with his combative energy enough to dominate the stage no matter the size.
Taken too young, DMX lived life fast. You cannot talk about the history of ’90’s hip hop without DMX. This Stacks Limited Edition DMX card pays homage to his ’99 Woodstock performance. RIP.
